The EXCON 2007 is designed to showcase a wide variety
of plant, machinery, equipment, technology and construction
inputs for the growing Sri Lankan Construction Industry with
the objective of promoting linkages among the domestic
stakeholders to enhance capacities, technological
capabilities and competitiveness..
The “Exposition” presents an opportunity to
International Construction Contractors, Manufacturers of
Construction Material inputs, Construction Technology
Providers and Vendors of Construction Machinery and
Equipment of the region to showcase their products and
services with a view to forge linkages with the Sri Lanka
Construction Industry and use as the initial “Market Entry”
initiative.

Sale of Exhibits |

Exhibitors will be permitted to sell their products during
the exhibition. Sri Lanka is a signatory to the ATA CARNET,
which permits temporary importation of goods without payment
of duty/guarantee. However, sale of exhibits at the event
will be subject to duty which has to be borne by the
exhibitor.
In order to obtain the duty rates applicable to the exhibits,
the exhibitors are requested to forward the details of their
products categories with HS Code Nos., quantity and value to
the Exhibition Secretariat on before 30th April 2006.

Please note that insurance cover for exhibits would not be
provided by the organizer. The exhibitors are advised to make their own
arrangements for appropriate insurance cover.
